Growing up abroad dramatically impacted Suzie's approach to life. As a person who enjoys the comfort of "home," she has learned to find a strong connection with her environment, wherever life takes her. From the suburbs of New York, to Tokyo, Florence, Jeddah, and New York City...

This mentality extends into her acting. She's played an array of character types from hip Egyptian student protestor in Tom Coash's Cairo Stories to matchmaking festival crazed hippy in Laura Shamas' Up To Date.  It can be surprising how closely she connects with these out of the box characters!

Suzie is not your average 'girl next door.' As a teenager, when she wasn't busy with a play or school work, you could find her with her best friend doing outlandish obstacle courses on the streets of downtown Tokyo (fun way to get exercise, no?). Their absurdity, of course, was completely ignored by the polite Japanese people they came across in-route. Just one of the many freedoms Suzie experienced as an American growing up outside of her own culture. She's still usually the first person to laugh at a joke, and prefers to surround herself with positive and insightful people. She is also fascinated by psychology, and earned a minor in the subject during her undergraduate studies at NYU.
